All Glammed Up by Brides Amore | Wedding at The Grand Tradition

Helping brides become picture perfect for their wedding day is something we pride ourselves on at Brides Amore. For example, Jatziri recently married the love of her life, Geovani, at the gorgeous Grand Tradition in Fallbrook, California. To doll her up on her big day, Jatziri contacted our team via Facebook. We we were happy to create a custom plan for Jatziri and her entire bridal party!

I always love to make my brides look and feel perfectly beautiful on their special day. This is why we always customize each look for every one of our brides. A few weeks prior to the wedding, we meet up with Jatziri for a trial run. After exploring options with her hair and makeup, we came up with a style for her – large loose curls paired with a subtle smokey eye.

Before the wedding itself, we carried over Jatziri’s custom look to all of the girls in her bridal party. The girls had a great time getting made up together, and looked simply stunning!

With her soft, glamorous curls, and subtle, smokey eyes, Jatziri looked incredible! We made sure to use waterproof mascara and eyeliner in anticipation of the flowing tears!

Jatziri’s main concern was that her hair and makeup last throughout the day and into the night. With a little help from some oil-controlling primers, and long lasting Airbrush Makeup, she and her bridal party danced well into the evening, without worry!

We wish Jatziri and Geovani the best of luck in their new life together!

Two Looks, One Wedding | Hair & Makeup by Audra Rene Studio

Ashley and Bryan’s recent wedding started with a traditional, elegant Catholic ceremony at The Immaculata. This was followed by a reception at the historic El Cortez Hotel, located near downtown San Diego.

Ashley was a wonderful bride to work with, and it helped that she had such a great eye for style! After discussing Ashley’s goals for her wedding day look, we decided to create not one, but two custom styles for her! The goal was to give her the versatility, functionality, and most of all, the glamour that she was after on her big day.

Look number one featured gorgeous cascading curls. The beautiful hair seen in these images is all Ashley’s, and it’s even her natural color! I was thrilled to have such an incredible canvas to work with. I swept her curls over to one side, ensuring that could show off the beautiful detailing on her bridal bolero or gown.

The makeup artist for Ashley and her bridal party, Maggie Hansen, created glamorous and flawless finishes for all of the girls. She used a mixture of products, including Temptu and MAC cosmetics.

When it was time for look number two, we only had 15 minutes to pull off this transformation! I love that in such a short period of time, we were able to create a completely different feeling in this soft, romantic up-do. The up-style let Ashley eat cake, and dance the night away, without giving her hair a second thought. Isn’t that what every bride wants on her wedding day?

We love looking at these beautifully captured images. It was an honor to participate in such an event to remember!

A Soft, Feminine Bridal Look by On Location Hair & Makeup | A Rancho Valencia Wedding

Anna Rose and Arturo planned a romantic and elegant wedding at Rancho Valencia Resort, a lush, 40-acre resort in Rancho Santa Fe. Anna Rose hired my studio, On Location Hair and Makeup, to create beautiful looks for her, her mother and five bridesmaids on the wedding day.

We met for a hair and makeup trial just two weeks before her big day. I enjoyed getting to know the bride-to-be, and hearing stories about how she and Arturo met.

Anna Rose has beautiful, thick blonde hair! We decided during the trial that loose soft waves would give her a flowy, feminine look. The idea was to match the romantic feel of her wedding day.

To create her hair design, I used the flat iron to create some loose waves, and added a simple braid to the side of her hair. I topped it off by applying my favorite cream to the waves, which made them separate and hold.

The braid added a fun, whimsical look, and it helped Anna Rose’s hair stay in place throughout the evening.

For make-up, we wanted to continue the soft look, in order to create a natural glow and rosy cheeks. I added a special moisturizer to the foundation to for a dewy effect. We went with pink lips, with a gloss on top.

When blending the eyeshadow, I used a shadow brush to gradually work the shadow into the eyelids. The technique I used was to flutter the brush many times on the lid.

When Anna Rose put on her wedding gown, she looked so beautiful! Her hair and makeup came together perfectly, and her dress to completed the look. When the music came on, you couldn’t help but feel the happiness and joy in the room.

For a cohesive look, we continued the braid work in some of the bridesmaids’ hair. Because each skin type is very different, we custom blended individual foundation colors for each member of the bridal party. We also used artificial eyelashes for some of our styles.
