Featured Video: Billy and Adrianna

A couple of posts ago, we highlighted the wedding of our own photographer Billy and his lovely bride Adriana. Today we’d like to showcase their wedding highlight video, courtesy videographer Carl Thiessen, who did a great job capturing the moments of the day.

The art of the wedding video has evolved over the years, with many wedding couples now favoring short, cinematic films over the traditional multi-hour format. These condensed videos can be easily watched on repeat, distributed to family and friends, and uploaded to social media. It’s amazing how much joy, excitement and emotion can fit within a tightly-edited presentation of 5-7 minutes. Check out the video below!

Campbellicious Video Recaps a Timeless Wedding at La Valencia Hotel

After meeting with Laura three months prior to the big day, we knew this was going to be a special wedding. From our very first meeting, Laura was very relaxed, and open to our creative direction for her wedding video.

Laura and Mike’s ceremony was held on the picturesque lawn at the La Valencia Hotel, which, as far as we’re concerned, is one of the best hotels in the La Jolla area. The couple opted for our full coverage package of 8 hours, resulting in a ton of great footage.

Throughout the day, the happy couple was absorbed in the moment, and surrounded by tons of supportive and friendly guests. This made for a great video! Take a look at the highlight reel below:

Overall, we would describe Laura and Mike’s day as a timeless California seaside wedding, filled with family, fun, and love. What a gorgeous couple!

Typically, we send our finished video to the couple on their first month anniversary. But we were so excited by the edit that we sent it a little earlier :) Laura said she “LOVED LOVED LOVED” it!

Laura and Mike shared a few great ideas for the extended video, which is also included in their package. We’re excited to begin editing an amazing video, and working with this couple to tell the story of their day!

An Enchanting Wedding Day at the US Grant Hotel | Video by Cloudbreak Films

Hanie and Jason were living in Texas while they planned their wedding at the historic US Grant Hotel in San Diego. The US Grant is of the most exquisite wedding venues in Southern California, with features including brilliant crystal chandeliers, hand-painted ceilings, high gloss travertine floors, and a marble grand staircase.

Just a few months before the wedding day, the bride’s sister contacted us at Cloudbreak Films. She shared the couple’s desire for a simple videography package to capture the ceremony and reception.
