I would describe our collection as sophisticated and beautiful. We focus less on the fluffy over-the-top runway styles and more on the classic elegant bride. Since many of our designers are international, our brides can customize a gown to fit their particular needs.
Our bridal boutique strives to ensure that our clients have a wonderful experience by hosting only one bride at a time, allowing her to take time to explore gown options. A bride always feels comfortable, not pressured, so she can make the right choice when she buys a gown with us. Great service and knowledge of our gowns is priority for all of our consultants, and our boutique is small enough that if a bride ever has a question, she knows exactly who to talk to!
The White Flower opened in 2009, and was followed by The Bridesmaid Boutique in 2011. They are located next to each other, which allows our brides to find everything from one place if they wish! We have great designers and many different styles. All the gowns are available in an array of colors as well!
For wedding dresses, lace is very hot right now! Many brides are trending towards sweetheart necklines, and full lace with a fit-to-flair silhouette. I think lace will be prominent in this next season appearing in April. However, I expect to see less of it on gowns. I think lace will be used more as an accent, and there will be more emphasis on other unique fabric combinations.
One of our recent brides, Adrienne, picked a truly stunning gown by Martina Liana. The skirt was constructed with thousands of pieces of Parisian Silk Chiffon. It is actually one of the softest gowns I have ever worked with! The bodice had a beautiful dropped waist, accented with crystal buttons on the back.
I love when brides highlight their waist with a belt as well. Adrienne’s happened to be a Swarovski encrusted belt. She was so much fun to dress because everything worked on her. That’s why we chose to have a little fun with her accessories too!
Justine M Couture created custom jewelry pieces for her that matched her style and belt perfectly. I loved that she did two silk flowers in her hair. One off-white and one light pink. So fun!
When looking for your dream dress, listen to your heart! A bride will not choose the wrong gown. The most important thing is that YOU love your dress. It is so easy to get caught up in the moment and buy a gown that everyone is in love with. It is completely okay to take time to think about your decision because you can always go back to see the gown again!
If you haven’t tried on gowns before, then photos of what you like can help get us started. The location of your wedding may also help guide us towards a dress, whether it will be on the beach, at a rustic ranch, or on the rooftop of the Ultimate Skybox in downtown San Diego! Sometimes, a photo can help show a consultant what a bride is trying to say, if she doesn’t have the common lingo down yet.
Our price point goes from $2k to $6k, with most of our gowns in the $3-4k range. Our appointments book up 4 weeks in advance for weekends, and a solid week in advance for the weekdays. We try in every case to be flexible to accommodate our brides!
