First Dance | Spotlight

The first dance is an institution at weddings, and a classic tradition shared between the wedding couple. Often, the song selection is a subject of intense debate, because it involves eliminating beloved tunes until that one perfect song remains. When those first notes play, the couple can finally spend a moment enjoying the limelight, and have an adoring moment together.

There are all different songs and music types that have ‘struck a chord’ with our wedding couples. Sometimes the first dance is understated and graceful, and other times there are boogie shoes involved. Whether it’s a romantic waltz or a choreographed medley, we’re there to capture the emotion from an assortment of viewpoints. Here’s our tribute to first dances with this collection of recent photos. Lavish Indian Weddings

Wedding traditions vary from culture to culture, and each tradition is unique to its own roots. One of our favorite cultural celebrations is an Indian wedding. We love the excitement of the crowd, the traditional costumes, the abundant food, and the entire celebration.

From our experience, Indian weddings can take anywhere from 1 day to 3 days depending on the customs of the families involved. Each event can have from 100 to 1,000 guests, which keeps us on our toes as photographers. Each of our photographers has a depth of experience with Indian weddings, and a commitment to elegant, artistic and joyful wedding photography.

Jewish Wedding Celebrations | Mazel Tov!

Weddings that are culturally significant can have special meaning to family, friends, and invited guests. One such type of religious and cultural celebration is a Jewish wedding. Depending on the level of observance, there are many parts to the Jewish wedding festivities. Examples of customs that may be incorporated include the tish (breaking of a dish by the mothers-in-law), reading of the ketubah (marriage contract), and the shattering of a glass at the end of the ceremony.

We have photographed weddings for Orthodox, Conservative, and Reform Judaism, and are very comfortable and familiar with the rituals that may be observed at each level. Since we are prepared for all of the practices, and know the ins and outs of the ceremony, we can spend our time focusing on creative wedding photography.
