Bun in the Oven | Maternity Session Inspiration

We love maintaining a personal connection with our wedding couples, and seeing where life takes them. When a baby is on the way, we really enjoy going back and photographing the onetime newlyweds as parents-to-be. It is so much fun to get creative together, and the joy and excitement shows in the resulting photos :) As inspiration, we’ve collected a few of our favorite recent maternity photos, showing soon-to-be moms rockin’ the baby bump. Whenever the opportunity arises, we love incorporating kids into wedding day photos. Children bring fun and unpredictability to situations, leading to spontaneous and memorable images. For example, when we saw these adorable kiddos at Katie and John’s Temecula Creek Inn wedding, we knew we had to get them into the picture. Happily, they were more than willing to jump in and play along.

The resulting Photo of the Week features a bit of “kiss and don’t tell.” Whatever you do, don’t peek!
