Recently, we had the chance to work with an awesome couple, Ali and Matt! This couple’s wedding was held at the newly remodeled La Costa Resort and Spa. Our Moments in Bloom designers are La Costa natives, and we love the opportunity to work at this amazing North County venue. The staff and the grounds at La Costa Resort are exceptional! Also, the garden terrace, which overlooks the pristine golf course, is a perfect place to so say “I Do”!
Ali and Matt are easygoing, and they made this wedding so much fun. Although a wedding full of out-of-town guests can be very stressful, these two kept calm and were so gracious throughout. Not to mention, Ali was finishing up school the week before her wedding. What a trooper!
Ali and Matt wanted blush florals with a classic, romantic feel, which is of our favorite looks! Ali preferred that her bouquet be blush antique roses, with more roses to complement the design. To coordinate beautifully with her jewelry, we pinned Ali’s grandmother’s broach to the handle of her bouquet. These little details are a special touch!
Ali and Matt’s adorable flower girl stole the show, as she placed fresh blush colored petals down the aisle for the bride’s entrance.
Just moments before walking down the aisle with her grandfather, Ali looked like a beautiful, classic bride.
In the back of the ceremony, we added lush garden arrangements, which were transferred to the head table during the reception.
Our wrought iron arch is perfect for garden ceremonies. For this wedding, we added curly willow and a mixture of blush and ivory roses and lavender lisianthus.
Ali and Matt looked amazing on their special day, and the greens in the background set a beautiful scene.
For the reception inside the Poinsettia Ballroom, Ali and Matt wanted low centerpieces with a pop of color. We kept the same romantic blush theme but added a touch of lavender. The ballroom was set and ready for an unforgettable night!
