It’s Also The Parents’ Big Day

Many of us on the True Photography team have kids. Someday, they will get married – possibly to other “True” kids, who knows :) Whoever they wind up with, their wedding day will be amazing! It will be so much fun for us to experience the wedding from an entirely new perspective. Not as a wedding photographer, or bride or groom, but as a parent!

With this in mind, as photographers, we make sure it is a very special day for the parents as well. We are mindful to capture raw emotions, interactions with family and guests, and that iconic family portrait that will end up lovingly displayed at home. Here are some favorite examples of these special moments from recent weddings.

Bun in the Oven | Maternity Session Inspiration

We love maintaining a personal connection with our wedding couples, and seeing where life takes them. When a baby is on the way, we really enjoy going back and photographing the onetime newlyweds as parents-to-be. It is so much fun to get creative together, and the joy and excitement shows in the resulting photos :) As inspiration, we’ve collected a few of our favorite recent maternity photos, showing soon-to-be moms rockin’ the baby bump.
