Sometimes life has a way of coming full circle. Although Diana and Kyle went to nearby high schools, they were separated by a few grades, and didn’t know each other. Years later, they connected through a social app, and hit it off immediately. The rest, as they say, is history. Next summer they will be tying the knot at the Old Mission San Luis Rey with a reception at Green Gables Wedding Estate.
For this well-matched couple’s engagement photos, we ventured all over San Diego’s historic Balboa Park. From a photographer’s perspective, the park has much to offer, including Spanish-influenced historical landmarks, tranquil reflecting ponds, and a desert garden full of succulents. We had fun capturing images of these two in a variety of backdrops and natural environments.
Diana and Kyle brought along two outfits, and the delicate lace and pop of color on Diana’s dresses came out brilliantly in the resulting photos :) We hope you enjoy our selection of favorites below.
