Amanda and Danny will be tying the knot this November at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse, a charming restaurant and banquet hall on the San Diego Bay. These two are best friends, and have a lot of fun in each other’s company. The couple first met in high school, and their relationship sustained over four years of long distance (Chicago to Long Beach). When they finally reunited, they made their home in beautiful Point Loma.
Amanda and Danny wanted their engagement photo shoot to be informal and relaxed, so we started off at their house, a cozy studio with a charming patio.
The couple’s home is shaded by a beautiful magnolia tree, which made for a nice natural backdrop.
Afterwards, Amanda and Danny quickly switched outfits, and we crossed the street towards the America’s Cup Harbor. The walk over (and the harbor itself) provided a nice assortment of backdrops, and made for an ideal engagement photo shoot.
These two lovebirds enjoy spending time at the harbor, and frequent Mitch’s Seafood, one of their favorite eateries. It was really cool incorporating their favorite spots in their photos, and a great way for them to document this special time of their lives.
We hope you enjoyed the photos as much as we enjoyed photographing them!
